Lake District Wedding Photographer – Becky & Gaz
The wedding photographer’s dream combination: A lovely couple and a beautiful location. These were the two things I was blessed with when photographing Becky and Gaz’s wedding in the picturesque Lake District Town of Kendal.
Although I’m a Staffordshire wedding photographer, I travel around the country and abroad to capture weddings on camera. The couple that I had the pleasure of photographing on this occasion are local to Staffordshire but are big fan’s of the Lake District for the stunning landscapes and walks so it was an easy decision for them to get hitched in Kendal with an intimate number of close friends and family. The day started at The Romney’s Hotel in Kendal where both the Bridal and Groom’s party were staying. I arrived at the hotel and was instantly offered a delicious bacon sandwich made by the Best Man, Adam. I then followed the Groomsmen to Kendal Registry Office to wait in anticipation for Becky and the Bridal party to arrive. Then it was off to Maude’s Meadow in Kendal town for Fish and Chips and finally back to The Romney’s Hotel for some well-earned refreshment.
The weather was kind to us on the day (which is rare for The Lake District) and the day reflected the couple’s relaxed nature. A big thank you goes out to Becky and Gaz for allowing me to be part of their day and to their friends and family for making me feel so welcome.
Here’s a highlight of the day…
