Staffordshire Wedding Photographer – Bib and Tucker Photography
YOOO! Wedding season has officially started for 2018 and I thought I’d share this little Gem from last summer. I present to you… Adam and Molly’s Wedding at The Boat House, Aston Marina.
I had a blast with these guys. They were so chilled all day and were an absolute joy to photograph. Thank you Adam and Molly for having me be a part of your special day.
Big shout out to the guys and gals at The Boat house at Aston Marina for looking after me as usual!
Here’s what Adam and Molly had to say about their wedding day…
How did you meet?:
AP: A mutual friend introduced us, although admittedly I’d tried to hit on Molly a few years before via Facebook but had failed. I got there in the end, though.
Tell me your proposal story:
AP: We were in Miami back in 2016, I asked Molly on the beach and it was great.
MP: I almost found the ring in the bag before we went to the beach, Adam almost had to ask me in the hotel room!
Why did you choose the venue(s) you chose for your wedding day?:
MP: we loved the modern, open and relaxed vibe and we wanted to stay in Stone.
AP: we also thought that it suited our personalities, as soon as we went and had a look we knew this was the place we want to get married.
What was it you loved about your outfits and accessories that made you choose them?:
MP: My dress was very ‘me’, you just know when you find the one and I loved wearing it.
Tell me about the theme/styling of your wedding:
MP: We wanted to create a relaxed atmosphere to go with the vibe of the wedding so we chose afternoon tea. The main thing was to create an environment that people could just enjoy themselves. It replicated our relationship and personalities well.
What was your first dance and why did you choose it?:
AP: Inner Smile by Texas. We both love the song and the lyrics.
What were the most special/memorable moments of the day for you?
AP: obviously seeing Molly come down the aisle was the best, but I loved the speeches and when everyone was up dancing and having a great time at the end of the night. But to be honest, the whole day was just so special!
MP: I loved walking up the aisle with my dad and getting ready with the girls before hand. The atmosphere of the day and night was brilliant and it was just so amazing being surrounded by family and friends. The best day ever!
Why did you choose Bib & Tucker as your photographer, and what was your experience of your photography on the day?:
AP: we chose Dan because he’s a great guy and we wanted someone who would just blend in and give us the pictures that would best demonstrate and capture the day. Dan was fantastic and the pictures are spectacular, he’s a real credit to his profession.
What would be your best bit of advice to other couples planning their wedding?:
AP: Make sure you enjoy yourselves. From a male perspective, just try and say yes to everything. Ha.
MP: Don’t stress, do what you want and don’t let others influence your day. It’s about you two.
Are you planning on going on a Honeymoon? If so where are you headed?
MP: We went to Mexico and it was great. We loved it.
Could you provide any links to other suppliers that you think are worth a mention?
MP: James Barlow did our music and he was very good, as was the Saxophone player that we had. But we can’t fault Aston Marina and the staff there too.
